Tsunami Swim Team
The Tsunami Swim Team is an integral part of Kenmont, with more than 120 children and teens active on both the Swim Team and the Pre-Team,
The Swim Team practices every weekday starting June 1st, with twice-a-week meets from mid-June through the end of July. To join the Swim Team, a swimmer must be able to swim at least 25 meters freestyle in the lap pool without assistance or stopping. Please see a coach for evaluation.
The Pre-Team practices most weekdays starting in mid-June through mid-July. To join the Pre-Team, a swimmer must be comfortable in deep water and have the ability to swim across the diving well. Please see a coach for evaluation.
You may complete an Application for Swim Team and turn it in to the front gate during operating hours. An additional fee is required.
Montgomery County Swim League
Kenmont is one of six founding members of the Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL).
MCSL sponsors competitive swimming among the swimming pools in Montgomery County. The goals of the program include helping young people establish a love for the sport of swimming, advanced aquatic skills, teamwork, and the principles of good sportsmanship.
For the 2010 season, Kenmont (K) is competing in Division K along with Clopper Mill, Manor Woods, Quail Valley, Waters Landing, and Whetstone. Click here for 2010 Results.
