Board of Directors
The Board is made up of eleven Active Class A Members who are volunteers, and are chosen by vote of all Active Class A Members who attend the Annual Membership Meeting in May.
All Kenmont members are welcome to attend meetings of the Board of Directors. Please check the calendar for meeting dates.

EXECUTIVE OFFICERS - ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
President - Leads the board, represents the club externally, signs contracts, oversees strategic direction, manages insurance and legal compliance (990 filing, annual contracts), and chairs board meetings.
Vice President and Head of Membership - Supports the President, manages membership operations, coordinates elections and membership meetings, oversees member communications and retention, steps in for President when needed.
Secretary and Director of Membership - Records meeting minutes, maintains official club records, co-manages membership database and renewals, coordinates annual renewal communications.
Treasurer - Manages club finances, prepares budgets and financial reports, processes payments and receivables, coordinates with accountant on tax filings, maintains vendor insurance certificates.
DIRECTORS
Director of Grounds and Maintenance - Oversees facility upkeep, manages boiler maintenance, coordinates backwash inspections, supervises parking lot and playground maintenance, ensures facility readiness for season opening.
Director of Capital Improvements - Plans and executes major facility upgrades, manages capital project budgets, coordinates contractor work, evaluates long-term infrastructure needs.
Director of Technology and Tennis - Manages internet, cameras, and technology systems, oversees tennis programs and court scheduling, coordinates with IT vendors.
Director of Communications - Manages club communications (newsletters, emails, social media), coordinates event promotion, maintains website content, handles public relations.
Director of Pickleball - Oversees pickleball programs and activities, manages court scheduling for pickleball, coordinates pickleball events and leagues.
Director of Events - Plans and executes club social events and activities, coordinates volunteers for Memorial Day, Labor Day, and 4th of July celebrations (including coin toss), organizes Crab Feast and Teen Nights, manages event budgets and logistics, ensures rental liability waivers are signed for all events.
Assistant Treasurer - Supports Treasurer with financial tasks, learns treasury operations for succession planning, assists with invoicing and financial record-keeping.
ADVISORY
President Emeritus - Provides institutional knowledge and guidance, advises current board on strategic decisions, assists with special projects, serves as trusted advisor.

The Kenmont Board of Directors is always on the lookout for motivated members who are interested in making Kenmont even better by joining the board!
General Board Duties:
- Meet twice per month during the summer season; once a month in the off season
- Maintain member registration and wait list
- Set rates and fees for membership
- Oversee and help with opening/closing the pool at the beginning/end of the season
- Evaluate and prioritize maintenance and capital improvements to the facility
- Discuss and resolve issues raised by our membership such as:
- general upkeep and cleanliness of the facility
- safety concerns
- other day-to-day pool operations.
- Set and monitor budget
- Hire and oversee pool management company, including negotiation of hours, dates, and services provided.
- Hire and oversee contracts for services such as landscaping, insurance, trash pickup, court maintenance
- Work with the Tsunami Swim Team to coordinate swim team and club activities
- Volunteer (and recruit member volunteers) for our special member events
- Maintain pool calendar
- Post to social media
- Send regular member email communications
- Maintain Kenmont website
Length of Service:
- Terms are 3 years
- Maximum service of 3 consecutive terms; can run again after break
